Id assume all of you have heard o "Patch Adams" the guy that the movie was made about, but not Robin Williams, the real guy. If you dont know him, he is a physician that runs the "Gesundheit instutute" a FREE HOSPITAL in west virginia, and who also is a professinal clown who goes to refugee camps all around the world and clowns to cheer them up.

He was back in my city last night to give a speech (the most power one i have ever heard) and before it i went up and shook his hand and thahnked him for speaking at my school and not let the hecklers get him down. he said

"I dont mind hecklers, i dont even want a crowd that listens, i just want a crowd that wants to make revolution"

it was so powerful and odd and since i look up to this guy so much it was amazing.

Also the other people there was some economist guy, a professional lady who knew about Nukes who said the whole world could be dead in 30 mins if we launch a nuke at Iraq. a playwright, and some other lady and some other guy

they were all amazing speakers

another awesome point was where this little old lady who talked about nukes was talking abotu capitalism and how much she hates iot (basically this event that i went to was a bash- capitalism event) she starts jumping up and down and smashing the podium screaming "YES I AM A FUCKING SOCIALIST AND I HATE CAPITALISM" and everyone was jumping up and down and cheering it was amazing

Sounds like a good night. Could you post some more things that the speakers said, if you can remember.

Maybe it's just my perverted mind but next time you are going to post a topic like this, please don't use the same topic and description. It sounded as if you were up to something in bed last night.

teeheheheeee you perv

anyways, patch was talking about how we need to hold love and compassion higher than money, and the world would be OK

www.patchadams.org

he was also talking about the sounds a starving child makes when they cant talk anymore- and he started crying

The nuclear war lady was talking about how the entire world could be kiled by nukes in less than 30 minutes, and how the human race is on the brink of extinction.

this other lady was talking about her travels around the world and poverty

this other lady was talking about Peace should be a human necessity such as food, water, shelter, etc. becuase you need it to live

this economist was talking about conservatism and how many of its original values are actually leftist in theory

this other dude was just a crazy little italian guy who was insanely anti capitalist and started screaming and shit and spit was flying everywhere and everyone was goin crazy it was great

awesome experiance

speaking of speakers (so to speak) that one sounded really exciting. do you remember who the other people were?

btw-for me, the best speaker i have ever seen was Bobby Seale--he spoke for like four hours and everyone was enthralled the entire time. it was beautiful
