1) Although I have asked my parents..my history teacher..i still cant get a clear answer- the first two were to stop communism/socailism spreading (makes my blood boil) right? and the gulf wars? Hell if I know, war to remove sadamm? war to make gas cheaper? secret conspiricay made with the bin ladens? Please someone explain.

2) And second of all, why havent all those wars and the smaller, more under-wraps "conflicts" around the world been exposed to the public for what they are? Unjust Impearialist attacks with greed and money at the root of them all? The consenus at my old school (switching to new one in a few weeks) seemed to be the USA was some great defender of freedom that was always right and knew what was right for the world, and "communism" was like a swear word.

3) And another thing Ive always wondered..If the USA never turned into an empire and got involved in the middle east, would terrorism never be a problem? thats thier problem with westerners right? Western governments always interveening and building military bases over there?

First War- Saddam invaded Kuwait in December of 1990, Kuwait, which was once part of Iraq (the part with most of the oilfields) untill it became apparent to the British government that the King of Iraq was not going to allow the British government any more concessions for Iraqi oil, the British government, then partioned (illegally) Kuwait off from Iraq and placed the current Kuwaiti royal family, who would agree to concessions, in power.

Kuwai also tapped into Iraqi oil reserves by using slant drilling, a technology invented by the British. After Saddam invaded Kuwait, the West (espoecially the US and the UK) became concerned that Saddam would now be able to control, the second largest oil reserve in the world, next to Saudi Arabia, an shence would drive up the cost of oil. That was thr reason for the first Gulf War.

The second one, well there really wasn't a reason for it, other than the Bush administration was obcessed with ousting Saddam and needed to divert the American public's attentio away from the crumbling economy that was getting worse by the day.

The first gulf war was actually the Iran-Iraq war technically.

Yes, thats pretty much it.
If the U$ left the middle east alone and pulled it's support from Israel, the terorists would have no real reason to attack them (but they might do it anyway, just for the sake of it).
One of Bin Laden's reasons for hating the U$ is because they have bases in Saudi Arabia, which Osama deams to be sacred land, so 'infidels' should not be allowed to have bases there.
