What are the most important things a society based on leftist principles have to provide for its people? Not talking about advanced societies like in the West, but rather countries like Bolivia, Cuba, Haiti etc.

The most importand thing in a society is the Family, if the Family can not survive, the society cannot. The Society has to provide everything a family needs to be complete, heathcare, food, houses, everything that is neccessery for a family to survive on.

That's what some people think is the most impotand think.

the most important thing that a government (leftist or not) should provide is survival itself, where food and shelter can be provided. In a place like Haiti after its most recent revolution has a population of people who need food and shelter right now, to live. The next fundamental plan after reorganization would be jobs, and an efficiant workforce to rebuild the nation, and make it strong in both social and economic levels.

Please don't call that disgusting military junta that took place in Haiti, a revolution. No word could be farther from the truth than that. To call it a revolution is to grant it a legitimacy that it doesn't even remotely deserve.

A society's most important provision should be for a population to be completely free from exploitation. A society that grants all, equally, fundamental human rights.
