Understand Self

In order to know where I am going I need to understand myself. There are some efforts to celebrate a so-called "Hispanic History Week," and some of my people will participate. I am not Hispanic, God has taught me who I am. I am not "colored" people. The American Hispanic is without knowledge of self. Ourstory has taught me and today I do not fear to tell you, that you can discard that name "Hispanic." I am not "Hispanic." I am not colored! Those are some of the main things which I should remember.
I must become aware of the knowledge of self and the time in which I am living. You must know these things
There is much misunderstanding among us because of our inferior knowledge of self. We have been to schools where they do not teach us the knowledge of self. We have been to their schools and gone as far as they allowed us to go. That was not far enough for us to learn knowledge of self. The lack of knowledge of self is one of our main handicaps. It blocks us throughout the world. If you were the world and you were a part of the world, you would also turn a man down if he did not know who he actually was. If I, the so-called Hispanic, do not know my own selves, how can we be accepted by a people who have knowledge of self?
Some are representing themselves as Hispanics and "colored" people in the ancient history of men? Our search of the ancient history of the man of the earth will prove that not once in time were Hispanics or "colored" people living in Asia or Africa. How did we come by those names? The names are from the thieves. They have called us by their names and the nicknames used among them.
It even seems that we like being called by the norm name. After nearly a hundred years of oppression, we are still representing ourselves by the names our occupiers called us! We must learn that the ones who stole and robbed us that those names are not accepted by God or by the righteous people of God.
It is time for us to learn who we really are, and it is time for us to understand ourselves. That true knowledge is here for you today whether you accept it or reject it.

Hmmmm, after reading some nationalistic material, I could "sort of" understand where you're coming from.

But on the other hand, I don't see why knowing your "true" racial make-up or your "own" culture is important. I, for example, don't follow any Russian traditions, don't particularly like Russian food, etc. I chose to, instead, live by whatever cultures, trends, ideas, etc. interest me instead of sticking to a "particular" simply because it was what I was "born into."

But that's just my opinion.

What are your political beliefs?

Oh, and I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Don't call me white... and I won't call you Hispanic.
