Of almost every picture I've seen, Che wears a very simple uniform. Is a military uniform? Did he wear anything except that one? Did he wear anything special at official meetings, or at parties?

Che was never a fan of high fashion and never really was concerned about what he looked like. When he was young he wore the same clothes day in and day out and used a rope as a belt. His friends nicknamed him "chancho" which is slang for pig.

He even wore the uniform when he addressed the UN General Assembly, Fidel basically wears a green uniform all the time also. I'm guessing eventually Che had more than one uniform though. As far as wearing something else, the only post Cuban Revolution pic of him I've see where he was not wearing the uniform when he was in disguise as an international businessman "Ramon Benitez" in order to be able to travel abroad.

He fought in the revolution and in my opinion, I would rather like to be dressed like that instead of a bight red gap t-shirt.

Actually I think fighting the revolution in a bright red gap t-shirt would be kind of epic.

I think its his second wife, Aleida March.

I think he always wore the uniform because he was very proud of his rank, because he earned it, and beacuse he felt he was always representing the revoloution.

i find it funny that Che was anti-capitalist and anti-fashion, that after his death, that famous image of him has been plastered all over shirts and other clothing and sold around the world.

I rekon using his image on t-shirts and the like is rather disrespectful because he was, as you say, anti-capitalist and anti-fashion.
