I saw a preview of the fillm before Farenheit 9-11, anyway don't expect many mainstream theatres to cary the movie, like F 9-11.

Try imdb.com, that's great for film news. It's in Spanish as well, so I dunno how much of a mainstream audience will be attracted to it. The director, Walter Salles, made a really good film called Central Station which everyone should really check out, great piece of cinema.

A preview of the film was shown before I saw Fahrenheit 9/11.
I have heard good things about the film, and cant wait to see it this Fall.
Before you see the movie, please read the book, Motorcycle Diaries. or Chasing Che, by Patrick Stymmes.
I live in San Francisco (very liberal city) and it will be popular here.

What exactly is the film about? Is it a representation of the book or of che's life?

EDIT: Watched the trailer, got my answer :). Looks good.

The official websiteMotorcyclediaries (http://www.motorcyclediaries.net/MD.html). Here you can find an interview with Alberto Granado and more interessting stuff.
I just want to praise the director Walter Salles. He is magnificant, everyone who has seen "Cidade de deus" and/or "Central do Brasil" know that he is talented.
