This is all over the news right now. WHat was up with that, it seems as if Fidel was just mad and pulled a vey childish thing, by oh i dont like what you did so now ill rat on you. if you hear the conversation. Fox asked Castro for this conversation te remain private and Castro agreed. Now if he just wanted to come down and make some scene thats just plain right out stupid im sorry. and i dont know how you guys feel about it, but i think it was a very stupid thing to do. Especially to realease it and he knew that they would say that he did that only to be able to lose some attention to Cubas problem. Well ill like to hear how you all feel about this.

Bah, Fox was bending over and taking it up the ass from Bush. I'm glad Castro made an issue out of it. Who cares anyway, Fox had piss poor relations with Castro to begin with. Maybe it wasn't the most ethical thing of Castro to do, but bending over for Bush is far worse.

different point of view, right here every 1 is pissed at Castro cause he came off as a scene maker, and i dont think Fox was bending over for the U.S, and even if he was is it better than being off like cuba? i dont want to get on any side on this butim alittle pissed at Castro cause im just done hearing the conversation and it was perfectly normal, he shouldnt of gone to the meeting if he knew what he was up to, first he says hes not going then he says he is writes a letter to fox, and knowing that fox was going to call he records the call, i dont know it pretty damn childish and makes me wonder why the hell they havent killed him already

Cat and mouse. And the comment about why they haven't killed him is heartless, I know you're angry, but leave it out.

OK, here's how I see it.

Fox shouldn't have made the call, but that's just a personal oppinion. Fox shouldn't have persisted to deny it even when Castro was threatening to provide proof if he didn't admit making the call, that is a glaringly obvious fact.

I heard a few days ago about Castro having "evidence" to support his argument that Mexico asked him to leave early, and I heard it on everyone's favorite capitalist channel, CNN. Fox should have just came clean, never try to call Fidel's bluffs, the world should have learned this by now ;)

This was about not letting Castro near Bush. This is about getting Cuba out of the convention so it wouldn't make the U.S. look bad, because Mexico is currently sucking up immensely to the U.S. Castro merely wanted to prove that Fox wanted him to leave early under U.S. pressure.

i do agree with you on some degree mexico has been really acting like th us little lap dog, but you have to see that its good for them, and i guess they would stoop to get where they want though im not sure what they want. And also fox never denyed the conversation, he said that he at no time Castro not to come to the meeting, besides castro had this all planned out well its past

The truth is the truth. Fox is the one who is seen as a liar by the people, not Fidel. Not only a liar, but a traitor and a whore for bedding down with the likes of Bush.

El Comandante Fidel Castro was completely right in his decision to make his conversation with Vicente Fox public. This conversation shows how all Latin American presidents (except Fidel, of course) behave. It exposes the traitors that they are toward their fellow Latin American brothers. They rather kneel down to their boss, the self-appointed President of the World: George Bush. Another point I would like to mention is what Fidel said on the Cuban television. "Conversations between heads of state are not love letters" and the people deserve to know what goes on. This is why I applaud Fidel's decision and am ashamed at the way Vicente Fox and his government are behaving.

This conversation, it has brought a lot of talk...... and obviously i agree with fidel, Xanderbeaux if it was a normal conversation why did FOX want it to reamain secret or something. Andres i agree with you, they should let the people know, unlike what the U$ does. only lets the people know.... they dont let the people know anything come to think about it. (besides lies)

I see your point, and i can say i party agree with it. Now that i think about it more, maybe it wasnt just to take away attention from the whole human rights thing though i do still think that partly responsible, but maybe it was ok for him to show it, well its a topic that depends on how you view things, i choose to remain neutral and hear and try to understand both sides

please annyone do not defend fox because he shouldent have asked castro to shut his mouth and leave early when it was the us,s turn to speak. fidel castro has had so manny assasination attempts from the American cia and fox happens to be in good ties with the american presedent so why wouldent fidel not frame him but expose the truth that just shows evryone how much America and its little suck ups try to domminate the rest of the world and everything envolved with it so why not expose the capitilist imperialist scum i say good on him and i hope that future leaders will be aware of this and do something to stop it

Castro is bitter, and he has every right to be. Fox is a coward begging for scraps from the yankee table.
