I live in "Small town USA" and i'm getting alot of socialist and anti-war fliers and pamphlets and i want to know where i should pass them out. I have a few ideas like a small French Bakery where the owner likes me, or like clutter the highschool with them, or put up some BIG ass posters somewhere in town...

any suggestions?

Wal Mart- they love kinda thing. I think being unwelcome is important.

put'em under the windshield wipers of cars, or post them inside grocery stores on their bulletin boards in the entrances.

hit the most alternative spots you can find for a small town. the record shop, around the newspaper, parks, kids in malls.

kids in malls.
that doesn't strike me as particularly alternative at all.

Make a whole shit load of them and then do what the conservative christian zealots in my town do. Go into damn near every place you can and then "accidentally" drop them on the floor or leave them on tables so that people have to eventuallysee them when they have to pick them up. It works pretty well from what I've seen.

Dont do that, that pisses people off.

Place them in shops but ask the owners first, if there is a industrialarea then place them in the offices there and hand some out at schools. In the industrail areas where there is a large numbers of workers who may be deffinatly in the proleteriat genre place socialist leaflets and have info on the war how it is imperialist and doesnt benifit the working class, most of thoose guys arent that interest in a peace movemnet but they can be interested in a labour movement. Just dont make it look hippy.

there are a few reasons you go to a mall if you're a kid. you're either shopping, looking around, stealing (which i actually did my share of), checking out the opposite/same sex depending where your preferences lie, or you're looking around for a bit more of you-don't-know-what-yet. commieboy lives in a small town. that's what lots of kids do at the mall. they wander. you want to reach an audience and they're all right in front of you ripe and ready for the picking.
