Ok, I know that this sin't the first time this has been mnetioned, but think about the ramifications of this, if it happens. It would be the equivalent of Hitler naming himself fuhrer, it would be the first time in US history that this has happened. If Bush manages to delay the elections indefinitely and consolidate power the US will have offcilay become a facsist state.
There has been much bickering over who, if anyone in the government has the authority to do this, according to some Congress does. My question is what, how and where would a terrorist attack take place in the US to allow this to happen? Certainly it would be in al-Qaeda's best interest to carry out such an at.tack, because the Bush adimistration really has given up the search for him,a t the same time Bush would benefit from an al-Qaeda attack, because it would allow this consolidation of power to happen. Talk about irony.
