I heard it was old footage, but then I heard it was true.
I think they were cheering about the attack, I don't think that was the common feeling of the people however, just some isolated footage used as propaganda.

Probably a lie. The US is anti-arab, they want to paint all arab peoples as terrorists or supporters of Al-Qaeda.
Aren't the Americans basically cheering and encouraging the destruction of lives right now in Palestine? They are handing the Israelis the bombs, guns, and tanks to destoy innocent lives then they have the nerve to say that it is the right thing to do. There is no difference between what they are doing right now and what happened on 9.11

It was footage... From long Ago..
INvasion of Kuwait, I belive..
It's common sense..
Do you have any idea what time it was over there when the attacks happened? It would be FAR later in the night, while it was morning over here. Yet the fottage shows people cheering in bright daylight. Do you think people are going to wake up in the middle of the night to cheer? It's CNN racist propoganda, that provoked hate crimes that killed people.

Actually, I think it was the fact that Arabs had just murdered thousands of people that sparked the violent crimes against other arabs.

The whole thing is disgusting. The fact that anyone would use such a tactic is nothing but base cowardice and an amazing example of underestimating the USA's national will. For good or bad, they have followed through...

As for there being no difference between the 9-11 attacks and the Israeli actions, I think you're wrong.

I also think that the US would like Israel to stop, but they supported them for so long they don't know how not to...

I can understand them cheering, because if i got run over by a tank that the U.S. gave Israel i'd be pretty pissed at the U.S.

i'm with sabre....i don't in any way support cheering for the deaths of people, but i can understand why....their leaders are basically pointing at israel & the US - rightly or wrongly - and saying "hate them, they're your enemy"....not that israeli or american leaders are doing any different, but anyway....

I agree with Sabre. I can also understand why bin Laden attacked the WTC.

Zapatista---
Bin Laden used this as an "excuse" or a cover-up for his own brand of terrorism. I knew a Muslim who was on AA Flight 11 and he was with his wife who was 9 months pregnant at the time. There was no justification for the murder of all of those innocent people and Bin Laden uses this con as a way to hide.

No, I'm from Palestine. I asked my Uncle if it was true and he said there were no cheerings. He works or worked in that building in Ramallah...the Millitary place that was tron down by Isreali tanks.
