I dont know if they have life time in some of your countries, but in the USA its a channel that shows all these serious movies of abuse toward women and such.
Does any one watch life time movies? ...dont lie!
People think it's all drama and such, but I tend to think they make good movies that are pretty insightful. How about you?

I think Life Time makes good movies that deal with child abuse, those are the ones I've seen. My favourite one was about a kid who had to testify in court that this baseball coach had molested him, while the coach was in the coart room.

The movie ended with a note that now some coarts are using closed circuit televisions for these testimonies, but the defense lawyers are actually trying to say this is unconstitutional.

Another good one was about a mother who shot her daughter's rapist after he was declared innocent in court, the movie is all about her own court battle and her daughter's recovery.

i love lifetime!!!! besides nick, its the only thing i will watch when im relaxing at night. The movies are great. Basically all of them are based on true stories, which always amazes me because i cant believe half the shit that happens to these people.

One of the best ones is the one in which the mentally challenged girl from greenwhich(?), connecticut is sexually assaulted by memembers of the baseball team. When she comes out about it people dont believe her because it was the second time it had happened, because shes mentally challenged, and because the boys were such "good boys." It was just horrible the shit this girl was put through and how the rich get away with everything.

I loved the movie because i had been reading about the case. The guy who investigated the case wrote a book about it called "Our Guys" which i was reading when the movie came out. Read it if you can, the case is just a horrible mess because of who these people are.

Lifetime is solely responsible for resurrecting the carrers of people like Merideth Baxter Birney and Nancy McKeon.

For this crime against the people alone, the network headquarters for Lifetime should be destroyed.

I rarely watch t.v., but every now and then when I flip through the channels I may occasionally watch a movie on that station. A lot of them deal with issues that people are confronted with everyday, they really do make a good point on what happens.

good 80's style and always a safe bet when nothing else is on late at night...

There's nothing wrong with 80's movies! Ha ha, Lifetime is the station to watch when there's nothing to do and it's only midday! I watched A Family Torn Apart a little while ago :o Most of their movies are all of women being victimized and shit. It's sad but it gets old.

I prefer watching those sexist Film Noirs on the Classics Movie Channel, TCM, I guess the antithesis of the Lifetime channel.

"Kiss Me Deadly"... Mike Hammer arrives on the scene where the "broad" starts explaining the situation to him, Hammer says to the man with her.. "Tell her to shut up." The man tells her to shut up... and zips it up she does. Nice! Always the Femme Fatale and always the woman being dragged around by the arm and thrown into the backseat of the car, if not the dead body in the trunk. If it wasn't for all that light and shadow and those Hitchcock elements, I probably would not watch---- but alas, I can sit around and watch them all day long.
