It's hard to say what can be done, people have been trying for more than 50 years to get rid of those zionist monsters.
Joining an organization and getting... well... organized, is a good first step. :)
Protests should also be relentless, never ending, and must not stop just because there is a temporary lull in the genocide. We must act every day, not just when it's in the news.
I was in Palestine last month, and I'm going back as soon as I can afford to, I hope to get a better idea about what can be done by spending a few months there eventually. Of course, getting educated and moving to the Palestinian state and helping build it will also be a good way to help, eventually.
Untill then, I'm not 100% what is the best course of action.

In response to the immense human tragedy in the West Bank and Gaza, the
Palestinian American Women's Association of Washington, D.C., (PAWA) is
launching a drive for Blankets Palestine. Due to the massive destruction of
homes and household articles by the Israeli military which has resulted in
unprecedented numbers of homeless people lacking shelter, there is a great
need at this time. All blankets donated will be distributed in Jenin,
Bethlehem, Ramallah, and Nablus. PAWA urgently appeals to all humanitarian
organizations, to churches, mosques, temples and synagogues, and to
individuals of good will for contributions in support of this project. Used
blankets must be clean and in good condition; children's blankets are most
welcome. For more information or to make donations please contact
Nada Samad at 703-847-4694.
American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) will be sending the blankets in
a container leaving for the territories in the next few weeks.
If you are joining the April 20th. demonstration at the White house,
please bring your charitable contribution with you. There will be a sign for
(PAWA) there. Time is running out. The shipment leaves in (3) weeks. Please
act.

I think it's fantastic that people want to help, and I'm sure there is some demand for blankets because of the housing situation, but isn't the temperature like 90 degrees and rising steadily these days?
I was just wondering how long-term this need is, although I remember it gets surprisingly cold in spring nights in Palestine.
Anyway, keep up the good work, folks, we can all make a difference

There should be more protests all over the US. We should let our government how we feel on how poorly they are handling this situation. Israel needs to withdraw from the occupied teritories inmediately!

it is very hard to organize anything in here, I tried the people here are spread to thin. Protest are going now as we speak in Washington D.C and San Francisco. (USA) but little else has been done. In order for anyone to make a diffrence there must be support and orginization. If you are to far from the protest then find others in your local area to protest with you, regardless of age. We have a global army at our finger tips here why dont we use it? Start small chapters in your areas and get them involved in the socialist movement, High school kids tell your friends, make fliers, hand them out bring attention to this cause, if we dont then all we are doing is wasting our time here, and allowing people of Paestine and the world to die.

im thinking about fighting for palestein i mean i can go to isreal with out trouble and blow isreal up.i mean i dont look like a palestein or speak much of there language..
I believe that in this times where Israeli´s are harrassing Palestinian people the swastika could be compared to the david star.
Some people may think, 'this guy is crazy what is he saying!!!????'
But i answer to that question why r jews sloughtering Palestinians, if they are always (and its their right and obligation to do so)remembering the Holocaust???
So I believe that Jews always hide behind the Holocaust to attack and do what they want.
RAISE YOUR ARMS IN FAVOUR OF PALESTINE!!!!!

jews or zionists. make sure you make that distinction or we antizionists could be accused of being racist. I can see how the swastika can be compared to the israeli flag but you cannot say the magen david. The leader of the palestinian rights campagin heree in britain is jewish. when you say the jews hide behind the holocaust you are indicting him.
I think you have the right ideas on palestine thoughmake that distinction between jews and zionists, because what you said felt like an attack on me...
as I said you have the right ideas on israel put please dont be anti-jewish, and never equate JEWS as a whole group with nazis. that is just inhumane.

agreed, completely - star of david implies all jews, & that's not fair
by the way, haven't you put that message up elsewhere in the forum?

Reuben, I agree with you. It is not fair to label all Jewish people as bad. I think this Israeli-Palestinian war is going to have very bad aftereffects.

Ah, yes, but the swastika (albeit turned a few degrees) used to represent very different things before the Nazis seized it as their symbol and defiled it with their crimes.
To me, now the star of David is a symbol of the zionist state, because they have chosen to make it theirs.
So I believe there is a comparison, not necessarily all that valid or relevant, but at least a slight similarity.

Stalinsoldiers:
While I understand the sentiment, yours is not a particularly well thought-out plan. How exactly are you going to crush the zionist state? Well, a good start would be not to state your intentions on a public message board. A second would be to speak some arabic, so as not to get killed by your fellow freedom fighters. A third would be probably to define exactly what it means to "blow up israel".
I don't mean to *****, but it struck me as a pretty silly post and if you're even thinking about just flying over there and trying to be a suicide bomber or something I feel I must discourage you from that vehemently. It would probably trigger a crackdown and make it very difficult for international peace activists to enter the country to stage peaceful protests, and it's hard enough as it is. The line between international activist and international terrorist would be severely blurred if people started flying over to take up arms.
Anyway, that's just my two dinars ;)
