In a mailout from the Human Rights Campaign I learned today that the U$ $enate is voting on the ultra-discriminatory Federal Marraige Amendment. This is the same one Bush alluded to in his last Fate of the Union address that would ban gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender couples from getting married. In response, the Campaign has initiated a massive e-mail drive in which they hope to get 250,000 people to participate.

Anything that bans homosexual marriage is illegal, and should be fought at every oportunity.
unethical, discriminatory but no illegal the government decides whats legal and illegal,
personally they should be allowed to marry but not under god it should be marriage under the law of society not the blessing of god, there are two types of matromony holy and legal, Gays should be allowed legal matromony like everyone else but it should depend on the religion if they are allowed matromony of the holy nature,
the problem is George bush is christian right wing christian at that so he views marriage and religious matronomy under the blessing of god and in christianity homosexuality is unnatural and a sin.
