I visited a US forum today, basically conservatives.

First, there was this US Veteran. He said when he was in Vietnam, and after they shot them, they LIKED to take a stick and dig into their heads, around and around, to see if there was any brain inside the commies.

"We didn't find any brains, needless to say".

After they started making a lot of threads about US freedom of speech, democracy and all that crap, they asked the MOD to ban me, because I was a communist, and I hated America.

I said "I don't hate America. I just disagree with it's policy, that's all".

They called me a commie troll, euro-trash, America-hater, they banned me.

Obviously they're a bunch of hypocrites. How can they advocate freedom of speech, when they ban people with different views on politics?

Those people that I like the most is often, in fact, are Americans, because they are social and loving people. But when it comes to politics, it seems like there is mix of fear and anger involved.

What's funny: I made two threads, and the one about communism was deleted.

I don't know, but a year ago, I thought communists supported an evil ideology, filled with hate, but at least I listened to them, and I was curious. These people seemed afraid. They were afraid that, something greater then the US was going to take over their place. That they needed to be on top, or else they would fall down and die.

It's like the United States is there God, the constitution is their bible, and all of those who have a slightly different views are gentiles...

I'm not mad at them, because that's how many of them were raised... And it feels natural for them, because it's all they know, but is it just me that notice all these double standard?

I also have a few questions...

What is individualism and freedom anyways, when they are just empty words?
Is it, to care only about yourself, and the freedom to exploit others? It seems to me that these are the great values of America.

I do not know where you are from but try telling that to my wife and anyone for that matter from Colombia. I have heard over and over again that Americans are self centered stand offish people. I can honestly say that after visiting Colombia I can see where she comes from. Latin American people (in general) are by far the warmest and most hospitable people on the earth.

Try to avoid such ignorant people, just let them live in their cave enjoy the world outside the cave yourself. If they desire not to, let these ignorant individuals be!

My view on Americans are...

People dont like changes in the goverment.
People that in with older generation dose not like it when the younger generation become more wise then them.
People that talk out of their asses.

My view on Communists are...

People that are willing for the goverment to change.
People that take note of a wiser generation coming up in the mists of the older generation.
People that dont double talk.
