Since the Euro is in the back of the Dollar, and standing, I'm guessing it means that the Euro us, "fucking over," the dollar.

The Russian says "Magazine about how money gets done" or "is done". Reference to the money getting 'done' is an amusing coincidence, but isn't used in that context in Russian. Sorry.

Not really, recently the Euro has been worth more than the dollar, but the problem with the euro is that its value fluctuates too much, making the dollar the stronger of the two currencies overall.

I tried making a version of it without the text.

Sorry Kurai, but can you be more misgynostic in your text in that one. Nice way to create division.

Although I like the concept, I immediately knew the original poster was done by a man as well, especially with the explanation of the text; as few women would put the sexual subordination of the more feminine position as such as it would be insulting.

That the other gentlemen of this forum do not recognize this reveals their ignorance of feminine issues, a matter which has been called to the board several times, countless actually.

I ask you to please consider posts from the feminine point of view, and to imagine yourself as a woman reading such things. Even those women who would be okay with it could see how it would be offensive, but that no males on this forum did is very revealing to me. It's shows you're not thinking.

If we are truly to be comrades than you must respect me and other women and remember such respect

I never assumed that the dollar was female, I meant ***** as one who is subordinate to another.

It appears as though you have twisted the meaning of attempted humourous image into a women's rights violation.

Pandora, while a person could superimpose their ideas of "feminine" and "masculine" types of money, there's no point in this as they are fucking MONETARY SYMBOLS (pun not intended). Did you ever think the reason that nobody saw what you thought they should see is because they aren't looking at the euro and the US dollar and thinking, "hey, the Euro is a man and the Dollar is a woman!" ? Did you ever stop to think that there are OTHER issues in the picture than your superimposing genders onto money? Economy for example? Capitalism? Ever heard of these things, or are you too busy giving genders to other inanimate objects like rocks and paper?

Kurai Tsuki
23rd July 2004, 06:13
Perhaps this will be more acceptable.

Hell, why don't we just start a new company so we can fix EVERYTHING that's wrong in the world due to genders. We can say "oh my god, this rock is a man and that rock is a woman so this rock shouldn't be on top of that one!", for example.

We can call it "The Gender Institute", and the slogan can be this:

"The Gender Institute - Because everything has a gender."

Magazine how money gets "done"

Sorry Kurai, but I still female it's misgynositc whether it's a male raping a male or a female.
That fact that you changed the text to say "Take it *****" is even more misogynistic than the original text and I ask that reply be stricken from the record.

Yes I'm sorry but you're going to have to think outside your own juvenile adolescent boy mentality if this is to be an international forum of intellectuals of both sexes, and stop treating me like shit by belittling my comments when you've said something offensive to myself and others simply because I'm calling you on your hidden sexism. I know it must be much easier when it's just you and the other "boys" but it's time to grow.

Somehow I don't think the Russian magazine magnets were thinking of tapping a homosexual market with it. Regardless it's a rape image. That's the generalization.
I think more males would be unaffected by that then females in general because women as consumers have had to become more savy at picking out misgynositc advertising to seperate it from our mental continuums.

What I know of the Russian corporate base is despite the effect of communism it is extremely traditional and misgynostic as can be exemplified by even Boris Yeltsin's attitudes towards women as little more than sexual objects with no minds of their own. But this is a seperate issue, and the issue of machismo is one that permeates many societies and not all mediums in those societies.

But don't take some misgyonistic bullshit imagery and put it here and not expect me to call you on it, I have to deal with enough shit every time I pass a magazine rack as a woman and would like a break from the macho bs for a change!

That's funny any time some cabbie calls me a ***** for cutting him off on my bike and I call him a ***** back he tels me I can't because it's only a female term. I've done this several times and it has always generated the same response in field research, therefore you are wrong, sorry.

Not to spite, Yazzy, but in most languages (English excluded) everything does have gender. And you know what? No one cares. You can't deny something gender to protect it from sexual stigma. Attack the stigma, not the existence of gender.

Maybe it knows its sexual stereotype? Maybe that's the idea, Maybe its supposed to be taking the piss and saying that...err...well i dunno do I...i'm only 13... But surely you're looking into this way too far...And the dollar does look like it has a willy so it could be gay rape... And lets not forget the obvious fact that supposedly women have a better sex experience, and it isn't necessarily rape... However, america is ofetn represented as a woman (statue of liberty). But hey, lets all just cool down and not get stressed....Remember, none of us guys made it.

Good point, most countries when personified are referred to as female. So maybe it could be a lesbian scene.

<edit> But you're right, there's no need to look so far into it, it could be any combination of sexes. Lesbians with dildos, guy on guy, guy on girl, girl on guy with a dildo? Perhaps. All I wanted to do was make the pic usable by english speaking audiences, not have a discussion on the nature of sex and degradation.
