One of the best Portuguese poets of all times is dead.
Author of many poet books, her death was a big loss of the Portuguese language, to our culture and to our own motherland..

Poetry was her passion since her youth, she writed about the world and human feelings, her poems were a way to be in peace with the world, her words were beatifull and harmonious and her way simple...

More than just a writer, she was also a corageous anti-fascist and a defender of our rights and freedom..

But it's useless to praise her more, as she said once "Para que é necessário que os outros saibam que somos grandes se nós o somos realmente?". (Why is it necessary for others to know that we are great, if we actually are?)

and to our own motherland

So what?

Any translations of her poetry into English? My Portuguese is a little rusty.
