Florida voting scandal

Can somone please tell me more about the voting scandal in 1998/9? ago in florida and who was in charge of changing the voting list.

It actually happened in 2000, and I could write you a dissertation on all the ins and outs, but it would probably just be easier if you went out a bought a copy of Michael Moore's book Stupid White Men. The entire introduction is pretty much dedicated to what happened. You can also pick up a copy of the Miami Herald Report, which is their investigation of the whole re-count issue.
