I'm the leader of a "Progressive club" at my high school. For this upcoming school year, I'm going to do a voter-registration campaign, some sort of anti-war thing, some sort of anti-patriot act thing. Also, I'm going to try to end the occupation of our school by fascist door monitors. Any other ideas?

What do you mean by "occupation by fascist door monitors"? (what exactly is a door monitor's purpose, anyway?)

As for ideas, perhaps posters based on Redstar's High School Commie Guide thread. Convince people that it could work.

Or maybe a poster like this:

850 AMERICANS HAVE COME HOME LIKE THIS

HAVING FUN LIBERATING IRAQ YET?

A rather craptacular idea, but, meh.

You should be thankful that you can form a leftist club.
At my old school the furthest left anyone went was the green party, but most were on the right.
I was a communist oasis in a desert of conservatism!

Oh yeah, that too. Racism is the norm in secondary school, yet people don't know when they are doing it.
Someone I know once said "all gypsies are dirty aren't they?" and then denied that he was being racist.

At my high school, students weren't really allowed to form groups or clubs by themselves. However, there were enough teachers that were "left" enough to supply information and opinions of all thing social and political to leftist students like myself. If there is a trusted teacher, administrator, etc, at your school that has views similar to those of your group, ask him/her for help, advice, opinions, whatever. That's all I've got.
