Ive been reading and studying Communsim and the basic left for around two years now, i try to put myself into one or the other: Communist or Socialist, the weird fact is, my ideals contradict each other, heres an example,

When the workers overthrow the Capitalists, i still think the Machines should be used and not broken and then remade

But i would want 100% state controlled Economy and NO private enterprise. I would want a system where everything is made by the state enterprise, and all public services are run by the state

I would want items such as clothes to be ''private'', produced by the state, but sold to the people...and OWNED by the people, not given to people by the state for free, with state ownership

I would want a very political and social free society, not some iron fist dictatorship but a very restricted economy, where going into should we say private buisness is totally outlawed.

The wage system....i would not want there to be a huge gap for example between a doctor and a roadsweep, eg doctor earns £8 an hour, i would want the roadsweep to earn around £7.80 an hour....both are just as important and contribute to society. I would aim for a classless system, where the wage barrier on all levels from roadsweep to state enterprise CEO almost on the same wage.

Also that the state must never collapse or fade away into anarchy

those are just some quick personal ideals...but i still cant drop myself as a Communist or a Socialist, Maybe a ''Progressive Communist''?

You cannot have both, it's one or the other, buddy. Why should there be a strong state controling all of economic society? It isn't necessary, the people can control factories and markets by theirselves, with worker's unions and the like.

I don't know why you think the "machines" would ever be "broken and then remade", what do you mean? I've never even heard of that.

Sounds like you are a Marxist-Leninist, in the sense that you want a socialist transition period which will eventually end in communism.

Thanks, that is what i would desire,Socialsim intro a Communist Transition but i would not have a desire for the state to ever fade away (dont flame me) but thats just my ideals...im not saying i would want an iron fist ruling dictatorship, but i have no desire for the state to fade away, or any form of Anarchy grow
