I'm a Marxist in RV. Stands for Rød Valgallianse, or directly translated Red Electionalliance. Do not be fooled by the name though. We are not reformists.

Socialist, I wish I new of some way to become involved in my area but I am very skeptical about trying to google anything . With my luck the Feds will show up and declare me an enemy combatant and lock me away.

dont worry man - we arent living in the mc carthy era - no communist witch hunt going on - its terrorists that are destroying freedom nowdays.. so unless u look arab - the feds probably dont care

Eastern North Carolina. I would enjoy meeting others and to share opinions . I would dare say that No feds are watching. I cannot remeber what fed agency I read about but there were 3 times as many agents tracing money and various activities going in and out of Cuba than ones Hunting Bin Laden.

Um.. Is this meant to be sarcastic? It's so over the top that it seems likely, but sometimes it's hard to tell.

What do you think of AI's criticism of Castro over the handling of the latest American offences - the imprisonment of the US-funded spies, and the execution of the plane hijackers?

I don't really like any of the parties in the US, I used to be with various Maoist parties, but they all get a little too cult-like (MIM especially).

You can't just "start your own party" without it becoming nothing more than a tiny sect, concentrate on educating yourself and make a descision when the time is right

It seems that there are a lot of socialists who don't join any party because they don't agree 100% with their respective lines. I dont know about other places, but in the US, there is another option: The Socialist Party USA.

The Socialist Party USA is a Democratic Socialist, Multi-tendency party. We unite around a common set of principles, but have different underlying philosophies. The membership ranges from Left-Wing Communists and Anarchists, Leninists and traditional Marxists, Socialist Greens, and Social Democrats (unfortunately hehe). Our national secretary is actually an Anarchist and so is the Chairman of the Socialist Party of NYC (which is me). Here are some links:

http://www.sp-usa.org (our homepage, which needs a redesign badly)
http://www.debstendency.org (A Revolutionary Socialist caucus in the SP-USA. I'm a member)

The thing about executing plane hijackers is, its almost the only way to deter the hijacking of cubana, the state owned airlined. The US encourages Cuban citizens for hijacking planes and ferries, which is kinda funny since the US claims to opposes to "terrorism"

Not only does the US governmnet offer amnesty to hijackers, it also keeps the planes. How else could you deter this from happening? I don't advocate executions but I kind of see Fidel's logic behind this.

I have talked to CPB members before. Some Juche Idea Study Group of England members used to belong to CPB. They seek to gain power by influencing the Labour party through trade unions. They are a lot bigger than the CPGB.

The CPGB is very small and seek election through Socialist Alliance.

I don't like to be categorized nor limit my possibilities....I will always be a leftist obviously, but I will never follow a party or what someone tells me I should believe in. My sentiments are my own and I come to my own conclusions, but I'll definently always oppose capitalist political parties and imperialism...

EDIT: and this is not just politically but in all aspects of my life...including faith, and small things such as music...
