Has anybody here seen an episodue of The Maxx it was shown as part of the MTV oddities series originally alongside stuff like The Head (which was nowhere as good,) before there was a series made it was a comic book by Sam Keith and it would be the most fantastic philosophical exposure I've ever had. If anyone has a copy on DVD and a Dvd burner please send me a personl message. If you haven't seen it I urge you to, you will enjoy it. If you have anything to say about it or that you like it then please do so.

If you loved it so much, surely you can fork out $30 for the DVD?

I used to collect the comics also, surley the Maxx was better/ is better I don't even know if it's still being published than mainstream comics, but independent books are so much better.

Well that was uncalled for. I do love it but I don't have a credit card and can't find it on the net in non VHS form otherwise, since I live in Australia and there is no such thing as a region free VCR just DVD player I ask for some help. I'm personally hurt that came from nowhere, fuck you if your going to be like that.

Actually, most newer, good VHS players do play NTSC. It's probably written in the manual for your player whether or not it is NTSC compatible.

Given that PAL is producing 50 (interlaced) frames per second and NTSC is creating 59.94 this seems quite probable - it's simply a matter of discarding the unnecessary frames.

Guesswork on my part though. What I want to know is who the pratt who decided that 59.94 was a good number of frames to show per second <_<

I already know my VCR is not compatible, that's how come I asked. So anyway back on track, who likes the Maxx?
