Depends how look you at it?
I for instance would call Cuba a "good" government. TAT wouldn't.
There has never been a Communist Government though.

What TAT is suggesting, is that in communism there is no government.
Just like no nazi is a jew. That the terms are mutually exclusive.
And there is and has been a capitalist government, even if they do employ socialist ideas so that people dont get mad.
The fact that they are at the leisure to employ our ideas at their will, should kind of make it evident. Capitalists dont really orgainze into a government, becuase its a concept of every man for him self. The capitalists own the means of production and all the things that make the world go round.
You pray to god to get the job, so you can pay you rent, but the truth is, you are at their will.

Workers states are good states.
No states are the best states.

I would say: Cuba is a better state. It's not "good", but it's better. A lot better.
Capitalist states - 100 percent bad
Socialist states - Better

Russia and Cuba were fairly good untill American foreign policy put them in a constant state of defence. Chile would have been a good socialist country had the United States not intervened.
But then, according to Lenin, imperialism is, "the highest state of capitalism."

tsuki id say cuba was good, but not russia, it was flawed from the start, too hard to keep a country that big in check

Both are still "good", well Russia was, compared to the rest of the third world, and good even compared to the US or some large country like that.
but not russia, it was flawed from the start, too hard to keep a country that big in check
That's ridiculous.
Russia went from being a third world country in extreme poverty and under a divine ruler to a first world nation that was equal to the US in mortality rates and technology. They also had no poverty and social progression was enormous.

a good government could last if there was a dictatorship and the president, was not an idiot and mad bad choices,
there for all his choices would be smart, the civilians could not vote etc. make choices and most chocies would be smart

Now that the soivet union has broke it has left most of europe in political and economical trauma

You can't just blame American Foriegn policy for the failures of those governments. The CCCP was problematic from start seeing as the October Revolution was carried out by a small band of highly trained people not the masses, which is essential for a Communist revolution.

To be fair the bolsheviks did have much more support then some suggest, their party members had been elected as leaders of many of the soviets particularly in Petrograd, the actual revolution it's self was carried out by a small number of people but this shouldn't be confused for an indication that they had very little support.
EDIT: Lenin actualy held elections after the revolution in which the beolshevks won a large number of seats although not a majority which is why the parliment (i think it was a parliment) was disolved.

He won something like 20% of the seats with the SR's winning over 40% in the elections.

This is wrong. The revolution was led by the masses, and the party came in lagging behind.

That's what came to my mind. That was a good movie. Hard to believe but it just goes to show how anyone can be so indoctrinated (it was based on a true story).
