Lets get off these computers and take action.

And get yourself shot in the head?

No. Revolution is a bad idea, at least now.

yea that's a sad situation. Weren't the turkish prisoners just plain civilians?
Anyway, we all felt like you do now. CF is right, it is a bad time. Along with that, there are so many things that need to be done at the moment.

Totally agree with you.

Check my topic in the "politics" section.

Action should be taken. Perhaps not all out revolution, but steps beyond just talking about it over the internet and waiting for it to happen by itself.

Proper organization of communists, anti-capitalists and socialists the world over. Accumulation of evidence to support communist and anti-capitalist ideas. We should all learn about the current state of global and national politics and economy, and formulate what changes need to be made. Once there is sufficient planning and support, surely anything is possible.

Isnt there a Kurdish freedom group which are Marxist, in Turkey. Maybe you could join them.

I don't think we can do it without being really united. We are spread all over the world. We should take one nation after another.

Think about it. Castro started the revolution with 85 men. Those 85 could be 85 people at Che lives, or some of your friends. Every compassionate human being is a potential comrade.

i agree with memz we have to do something, we cant just sit down in front of our computers waiting for something to happen, BUT we must wait for the right time and now is cleary not!

The computers are very good for thinking through actions and ideals. One must have the correct intention and motivation in action, one that is the most beneficial for the most people and that is rooted in compassion.

Action for actions sake just ='s more of the same.
However there are demonstrations happening in our local community we can access.
We can volunteer as human rights observers for Amnesty International and put are asses on the line in countries under conquest.

We can work in orphanages, or march in the streets. But it's good to check into a forum to orient your thinking and make sure it is compassion and not ego based. If you read Marcos words "it's all for everyone, nothing for us." He waited 10 years establishing relationships in the community he worked in before taking action.

If you want action without community, well John Lennon had some words for such force, and they weren't good.

Just give up.There has never been a true socialist nation.I highly doubt there will ever be a successful one.

Just a thought but I hear many people complaining about capitalism but when socialism has failed repeatedly does it not make you think?
