The Islamic Human Rights Commission has named the three biggest Islamophobes of 2004; George W. Bush, Ariel Sharon and Jaques Chirac.
Bush was named Islamophobe of the Year while Sharon and Chirac jointly won the Most Islamophobic International Polititian.

How does Jaques Chirac fit into the category of islamphobe? it is my understanding that he opposed the invasion.

It was because he proposed that legislation against religious attire in French schools.

Chirac outraged Muslims last year when he termed the Islamic headscarf as "aggressive" during a campaign to ban all religious symbols from public schools.
Didn't you read the article?

chirac is racist and islamophobic. although his "ban" included yamaka's (hope i spelled that right) and large crucifix, it was obvious to the Muslim world that the hijab was a target. muslim women are ususally the target of racism and prejudice all around the globe, not just here and in europe; easy targets because of the outstanding dress code. the human rights commission is on point with these awards, and i've always appreciated that they had the audacity to poke fun at these so called leaders.
Kurai, you keep up with the website often? i am considering doing an internship with them in the next few years. holla back...

I try to keep it up, more so when I feel that people are viewing it. I also use it as a sort of storage space for things I've written, and one which people interested in my writing can view.

I wouldn't call them publications, just things I post in the Text section of my website. Sometimes I copy/paste them other places; almost everything in the text section of my site is posted somewhere in this community. And if I write something for this forum that I particularly like I will also posted on my webstite, and vice versa.
The ones linked in my signatures are the ones I like the most.
