I'm 16 and currently reside in Brooklyn...I've been trying to get myself involved with the Young Democratic Socialists of America, the Young Communist League and the Socialist Alternative (the latter is in Brooklyn).

A harsh policy I'll admit, but one that has brought great prosperity. India would be even better than China now if they had done the same thing. The problem is that the 'agricultural' view of childbearing (i.e. having lots of kids) can't be phased out until there is a more capitalist type society(i.e. having lots of kids is a disadnatage because they don't make money anymore, rather they spend it.)High birth rates will slow economic growth and the Chinese government decided that economic growth was more important.

I don't like it but hey, if you don't then why don't you just stop trading with them?

I never thought I'd find an anarchist in Bedstuy.

I never heard of any radical political organizations in the Bedstuy area...only around Prospect Park, around 7th Avenue off the Q train.

I'm a Anarchist From around the area on the Brooklyn/Queens Border. I'm trying not to get into any political groups at this time. But while we're on
topic, it would be great there was a large anarchist group in Brooklyn though.
