A Korean was held at hostage for days in Iraq. The Islamic militants grabbed him in the city and declared if the S.Korean troops do not retreat back to S.korea, the hostage would be killed.

Korean troops were send to Iraq only for facilitating the improvement and building of the infrastructure in the post-war Iraq, not for imperialist reasons. Personally, I think the Islamic militants were a bit far out in this incidence.

I know a link that provides the wmv video of the Korean beheaded, it is absolutely brutal, I don't think it's appropriate to have it posted here, right? Let me know in case you want to see it at the risk of feeling sick..

I'm sure the health of the Iraqis is the number 1 priority on the.

Same thing with the government of my country (Norway) which is so hell-bent on protecting the sanctity of human life it has even defied the will of the people numerous times, and continued to send humanitarian soldiers to Iraq.

He was a Christian missionary sent to help build some churches and homes. He was captured by these monsters and beheaded. And yet there is still opposition to the war because of a 4 year term President who can be voted out, but these monsters can't.

yes, Australia too. I think the U.S. may be offering some very enticing under table deals with some of the countries, in order to get their troops working under the same cause with the U.S. This is politics, the prime ministers, presidents of these various countries , i guess.... have wrecked their brains in thinking whther to send troops or not.

These monsters may be converted, one day, when imperialism ends.
The war was pre-emptive in nature. E.g. Say I saw someone holding a knife (who just happen to have bought it few minutes ago) and I punched him to the ground and call 911. That's legitimate?

To some Iraqi people the whole operation is an invasion that must be resisted in all forms. The construction crews, the troops.. the lot. They are building what they destroyed. Bringing foreigners in to do work Iraqi people could do. Its another form of aid keeping them dependent on the west. a new colonization (neo liberalism).

yes it was harsh he died, he took that risk in going. they asked that South Korea not send troops... otherwise.. he would die. the South Korean government ignored them and they followed through. its sick, its horrible - thats life, thats war. it will happen over and over again if Iraqi is occupied by foreign companies and countries (be that in the name of aid, the UN, the US or any other).

the worry is that Iraq will eventually become involved in a lenghty civil war. the occupation forces have gone in, will get what they want and leave when it suits them, leaving destruction in their wake.

food, doctors, teachers, solidarity, friendship, understanding, assistance is what is needed, not bombs, blood, economic slavery and starvation.

Iraq is crying for a new begining, forreign control and forces will never allow it. so the people resort to the last option they have ..... to resist BY ANY MEANS NECASSARY.

Foreign troops out NOW!!!
