Today I attended a demonstation at the Israeli embssy. My dad reckoned over 2000 people were there. It was huge and cars were going down the street hooting in solidarrity.
There were als o some scuffs with the police when some people broke through the barriers and sat in the road. Treated very brutally when they refused to move. Great stuff

Apparently there was a demonstation in Sydney, also. Some people started getting violent and it's presumed that they were put in there to cause trouble deliberately to smear the reputation of the people demonstrating. Very sad.

Unfortunately there weren't anything about those demonstrations in the Estonian press... Here people would never organize things like that, they wouldn't like to participate neither.... Once I participated on a demonstration against the Russian occupation in Chechenya but we were just few people and most of the people said later that we were ridiculous, I will never agree, we at least did something!

New York was strange this weekend... one day hundereds of people march across the Brooklyn Bridge to City hall chanting that Sharon is like Hitler... and demanding Israel leave Palistine...
... and the next day hundereds of people march in support of Israel in front of the UN...
Strange days.....
Must be that shit in the burgers
