I found this <http://www.greeneconomics.net/> site today and I found it interesting if strange. It, like all economics, is not easy reading. It seems to be saying that the current economic system is flawed and should be replaced with one that removes the profit basis. The system it proposes minimises waste by using the "waste" for other things (food for beasts of all sizes). It also has a number of essays that I haven't have time to read yet.

I think it probably (OK, scrap probably) is a bit unrealistic at the current moment in time and hopefully we wont have to worry about the issues in the future (on with equality, liberty, fraternity, etc).

I dont think that you could only have green economics. the government would most likey fail. Its a good idea but its got holes then would need to be patched up. I like how the government would care alot more for the enviorment.
