With every bit of information that emerges about how the Americans are really behaving in Iraq, it becomes even harder for the American government and people to justify this war and occupation as a humanitarian mission.

I'm not simply referring to the American prison guards abusing Iraqi prisoners. Another area of of American behavior where its thuggish tendancies can be shown is during their raids into the homes of Iraqi civilians. Such a raid may involve money and jewelry being "confiscated," doors being broken down even though they are unlocked, and furniture being cut open. Another habit has been to arrest the wives and children of suspected resistance fighters in order to persuade them to surrender.

The Americans are also detaining a number of non-combatant civilians as resistance fighter suspects, taking away the breadwinner of a given Iraqi family and leaving them without a source of income.

And then of course there is the civilian death toll of at least 10,000, according to International Socialist Review.

As if these acts are not degrading enough for the Iraq people, the American government is even trying to implement a new flag for Iraq. No Arab country should have to live with the shame of having their own national flag created by American imperialists and their lackeys.

And then of course there is the civilian death toll of at least 10,000.

Perhaps even more than that. A "strategic strike" means that the bombs hit with at least 27% accuracy. Of course there really isn't any way to know how many civillians were killed for sure, but what is sure is that number is going to rise.

You could put it that way, but I'd rather not use profanity to make a serious point.
