He seems to like to draw parallels between English occupation of Ireland, and Israeli occupation of Palestine. Yet he should also be reminded of the similarities between us of Irish blood and Jews. Oh, and about the who killed Jesus… It’s not a “Theory” that the Romans crucified Jesus… it’s fact, and it’s in the Bible.. Israel was a Roman province. Jesus was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate who was Roman.

If Jesus was the son of a God... well that's debatable... but he did exist... did rebel against the temple priests, was seen as a threat to Roman security... and crucified by Pilate as a criminal.

Redceltic, the similarities you described between the history of the Irish and the jews are amazingly similar. Particularly the sense that the loyalty of the Irish was somewhere else and therefore they could not be trusted. This claim has always been made about the jews mainly because like the Irish so much of their population hass lived as an ethnic minority, and before 48 all of it.
