American beheaded in Saudi Arabia. (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040619/ap_on_re_mi_ea/saudi_kidnapped_american&cid=540&ncid=716)

The al-Qaeda mebers that took this guy captive demanded that the Saudi governmnet release several imprisoned al-Qaeda members from prison or this guy would be killed. Despite pleas from this guy's family, the Saudi governmnet remained "tough on terror" and allowed the guy to be killed.

Unlike the previous beheading of an American citizen, this one looks like it was commited by real Muslim extremists. Another act of barbarism by hijackers of a religion in response to the Middle East destabilization by the U$ and its war waged on false accusations and lack of fundamentals.

This is a case of whose terrorism is worse: al Queda or whoever did this or the U.$. No Iraqi families went on the air in the U.$. to beg for their father's lives who are being held by the U.$. military. Given the prisoner abuse inherent in Iraq right now, that sort of begging would be understood as nobody really knows who the next prisoner will be who is beaten to death. There is no difference between the violence of either side, unless one takes into account that the U.$. has killed somewhere around 11,000 innocent civilians according to iraqbodycount.net. Then again, if al Queda had the resources, who knows how many civilians they would murder? A shitty situation all around if you ask me.

Unfortunately this will probably resolve the Americans even further to the right.
They will be so angry that their old "nuke 'em" attitude will come out if this carries on happening.

It would have been worse if they had given in.
Think of the consequences - do you think that al-Q would suddenly stop using this tactic? Because it works?

No, giving in would lead to more such deaths.

Apparently the local leader guy who is responsible was killed by saudi forces in a shoot out this morning, along with some other militants.

They didn't ALLOW THE GUY TO BE KILLED, he was killed becuase negotiating with terroists is a stupid as not negotiating with them, It amazes me how America refuses to negotiate with terrorists but saudi arabia has to negotiate,

thats bullshit when america stops supporting isreal i may be more sympathetic

but WE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS to follow G W BUSH's EXAMPLE

It's well known, what's allowed to US isn't allowed to others
