That's because they probably don't have one. Those who have such notions probably don't shout it to loud with a U.S. tank on ecery corner, and those who did are probably now among the million missing.

The U.S. is only willing to allow a democracy that elects their party. They do this by giving the people three choices, be tortured then killed, or vote for one of two identicle parties with different names.

Actually, they have two groups (at least) that call themselves "communist". One is pretty conservative (social democratic) and actually has a member in the Coalition-appointed quisling government. The other (probably smaller) group is part of the resistance.

They hardly exist as when Saddam briefly took control of Iraq in 1963 the CIA handed him a list of all Iraqi communists and their whereabouts.
It is estimated that up to 35,000 were murdered.

There is an Iraqi Communist Party in Australia. They are part of the Socialist Alliance. I don't know much about them though (so no asking questions of me about what they are doing here).

(do some 'research' and found this)

They are in fact the Worker-Communist Party of Iraq (Australian section) <http://www.wpiraq.org/>. The other group seems to have a website here <www.iraqcp.org/>. Do a search in Google <http://www.google.com/search?q=iraqi+communist+party> or <http://www.google.com/search?q=iraqi+workers-communist+party> for more info.

It is indeed the WORKERS Communist Party of Iraq that are a (fairly inactive) part of the Australian Socialist Alliance (and their position on the occupation has been vacillating- usually ending up in favour of it, and of criticising "self-righteous" western leftists who are out to "ruin" their "revolution" for the sake of anti-imperialism). The Communist Party of Iraq also has a presence here, both groups no doubt as refugees initially. The CPI is indeed collaborating with the Occuppiers.
There is another party, the Communist Party of Iraq- Cadre, who I am not familiar with, but suspect to be very small, and possibly Maoist. They oppose the occupation.

Saddam didn't really need the CIA to destroy the leading cadre of the CPI- a combination of Stalinist idiocy and treacherous idiocy did that for him. The CPI was in a pre-revolutionary Iraq, where they were the most popular party in Iraq (although still a minority). Following Moscow's rotten carrot, however, they refused to take power, allowing the Ba'ath Party to steal their momentum, most of their policies, force them into a governing alliance, and then, when a leading member went yellow, slaughtered thousands of them thanks to the list he sent them as a parting gift.
This is not to say that the CIA or MI6 were not involved- they just weren't really needed.

If you get a chance, read Tariq Ali- "Bush in Babylon: The Recolonisation of Iraq".

Oh, and as to the CPI not announcing their presence on street corners due to US tanks.... WRONG!!! When Saddam was captured, the ONLY flags I could see (well, almost) on street corners in Baghdad were blood red.
