I just want to know if anybody support the english and their imperialist ideas, hence supporting the belief that Falklands are theirs.

Yes, I guess you could say that the Falkland Islands are a relic of British imperialism, at least in that they represent part of the former British empire and that I guess they could be seen as a base for expansion of any probably non-existent British imperialist designs on South America.
As far as an oppressed people, I don't quite think the 600 British-descended islanders are being terribly oppressed, at least in imperialistic terms. Are you perhaps referring to the several thousand sheep on the islands? ;) Yes, in a perfect world, England would not control the islands and they could be Argentina's for all they're worth, but in reality, they were not worth the loss of all those Argentinian and British soldier's lives(mostly Argentinian). I'm one of the most militant people on this board flooded by namby-pamby pacifists, but those silly little islands really weren't worth those lives.

I think it would be the best to let the Falklanders(?) decide if they want to belong to the uk or to Argentina.
Was there a argentinmian population before there were the brits? I think the people in Argentina don#t care about this little island. How many soldiers died in the war? I never heard much about it and i even don't know when it was.

I agree the lives of the soldiers didnt worth hte soberaigneity of the islands. For example, Argentina lost 940 lives in order to obtain the soberaigneity of 600 kelpers. In first post, i've written "fuck tatcher", i should have lso included, "fuck Galtieri and Videla", as they were the dictators who support the war.

I don't know why i strongly feel the islands are argentine, there must be a reason.

Let the Faulklanders decide.

The Faulklands are important for 2 reasons.

1. They're in a straticic location as a refuelling point on the other side of the world for the US and Britain incase of a world war.

2. Oil has recently been discovered there.
