My left eyebrow is pierced....

As for leftist tatoos, no. But I am planning on getting a star on my left bottom wrist, I just need to make sure I'm up for the pain.

I just looked at the link, thats a sweet tat. For the tat on my wrist, I was thinkin a red outline of the star like that, but no hammer and sickle.

I have two tattoos: the two black and white theater masks (black and white last longer than colors) near my left hip and a dandolion on my right ankle. But I don't have any leftist tattoos--they'd take up too much space. I want my tattoos to be discreet. None of that elaborate stuff for me.

That tattoo in the pic is the shit! Right on!

I have three tattoos. A Kanji (that's Japanese by the way) script for the word 'Freedom' on my right shoulder, a dragon wrapping tightly around a yin yang on my right ankle, and a bar code on my left inner wrist (yes, Munkey Soup, get ready for that one to hurt like shit, the skin is very tender there). My barcode number is my ex-social security number.

I Will Deny You, you're right about the color vs. black and white. My kanji and barcode are black, and still look great. But my little dragon is showing a touch of fade, just a touch, but I know that in a couple years I'll have to get it redone.

Undecided about leftist tattoos at the moment. Maybe a little red star somewhere.

I DO NOT however have any piercings, no way.

People Over Profits,
Trance

I chose Japanese because I think the Japanese are the shit. Every society has their faults, but between sushi, samurai history, kendo, zen buddhism, anime/'japanimation,' rionoshi noodles, japanese brush painting, kabuki, rock gardens, japanese architecture and design, cars that actually run (all of which I love), I think the Japanese have an interesting take on virtually everything. Let's not forget that the Japanese are just gorgeous people aesthetically as well. Let's just say I'm fascinated by all things Japanese. Can't wait to go or move there one day.

I'd get a shitload of leftist tattoos, but unfortunately, not only are they expensive, but they're also a handy way for the security forces to identify someone. Any tattoos will have to wait until after the revolution :(

True, true.

But I'd still like to get a tat, and maybe another piercing, somewhere on my ear maybe. One of my buds (actually three, but I haven't seen the other two in a while) has his......nipples pierced. I wanted to pull them out when I heard he got them, just 'cause he's got the pasty white skin like myself (Irish curse) and an abundance of chest hair.

That's always looked incredibly painful. I have two earrings in one ear and one in the other, and I'd like to keep it that way. Perhaps you could get yourself a nipple ring with a red star on it? Socialist nipples!

Whoa that's weird, my post is there, then it's not, then it's there, then it's not. I have noticed this a touch lately here.

Is my computer about to crash again!?

That is a pretty nice tatoo, CautheN. It's definitely not something I'd get, though.

I'm still a minor (until February 13, 2003), so I can't quite get a tattoo yet, but I'm thinking about getting one or two. Maybe a little one of the Cuban flag or even better, a rainbow. I'm obsessed with them, as you can tell from my name. Oh, yeah! I'd really like to get some sort of tribal tattoo like those they get in the Pacific! Those are great!

I have 8 earrings and a nosering. Funnily enough till I was 18 I didnt even have pierced ears and then I got it all done in the space of 6 months.
I've never quite got the courage up to get a tatoo. I've gotten as far as sitting in the tatoo parlour and picking out a design, but then I started watching other people get theirs :o and I chickend out. I'm fine watching people get pierced, but I think its that buzzing sound that the tatoo needle makes that freaks me out.

Just bring in the design you want, at the size you want, and a good artist can do it no problem.

And the red outline is barely perceptible, but you can see it.

i am planning to get my eyebrow pierced, and a small red star or other cool design somewhere. i was thinking a barcode on the back of my neck with the words, "Made in Taiwan" or some such third world country... how old do you have to be to get a tattoo? Or a piercing? Anybody know?

18 in the U.S. for both..
for piercings you have to be 18 alone, or under 18 with a parent.. i got my eyebrow pierced wen i was 13 with my stepmom.. i didnt like it and let it heal..

CautheN, where are you from? Are you from Mississippi? Which city?

it totally depends on your age to get a tat. here in canada its 18 but i got my first tat when i was younger than 18.
and tats don't hurt any more than piercings. i have my lip and my nose done and i would have to say my lip was more annoying and painful (although not very) than any of my tats.

just make sure where you go doesn't reuse their needles. and keep in mind that tats are very addictive. i now love that sound of a tat gun.

I agree. Japanese are awsome. Ive never been to Japan but I have many Japanese friends and I like what they say about it. The best graphics design, the best electronics the best hardcore music(and porn as well) come from Japan.

Anyhow, I turn 18 in a month and a half and Im planing on getting a leftist tatoo of someone like Che or Mao and something cool like the grim reaper. Opinions?

If I do get any tattoos, I'd probably get the same one as IG32 (Che on right arm) and maybe a red star on my left.

But until June 11th 2005, I can't 'legally' but hey, rules were made to be broken. I'll see how it goes.

BTW, the picture of that tatt is cool man.
