I'm sure there was a topic started about this movie w/Antonio Banderas, but just in case. My friend and I watched this last night. meh. Unfortunately I'm not too familar with Villa. (I actually just know the big picture and who he was, what he did, etc.). If anybody else saw it, what did you think?
(It was longer than it needed to be at some parts, IMO)

I've heard of the movie, but never seen it. Was it any good? I really wanna check it out some time.
Speaking of Pancho Villa, I had a relative who was part of the Division del Norte and fought to overthrow the U.$. backed dictator in Mexico :P :D

I saw the HBO film and it's pretty good and interesting. They protray an aspect of the Mexican Revolution that many don't know about. It could easily be said that I wish it potrays more of the Mexican Revolution than the relationship of Pancho Villa and the movie producer, but that's not what the film's about. I think Antonio Banderas is a bad actor, but he's pretty good in this film. He does rugid and tough well and his Mexican accent is great!

i really enjoyed this movie, i think it gave a good picture of the kind of person pancho villa was, if it was accurate he seems to be a man greatly underrated and in deservance of more recognition.
