High Noon is pretty good, it's pretty much world famous. Gary Cooper won the 1952 academy award for best actor for that film. The 1960 version of The Magnificent Seven is good as well it has some great actors in it like Steve McQueen and Yul Brenner.

The Good The Bad and the Ugly sadly its the only Sergio Leone film I have seen. The score by Ennio Moricone is superb. I am planning to buy Once Upon A Time In the West soon.

That should be a good viewing, I saw it a couple weeks ago and it became one of my favorite movies.

I saw a really good one with eastwood in it, it has him attacking some people with a bat near the start or something like that.
Was good!

I love Sergio Leones western movies. Once Upon A Time in the West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (brilliant music) are my favourites. Check out his movie Gił la Testa (A Fistful of Dynamite). It's not as good as his more famous western movies, but I like it, and the score by Ennio Morricone is as always very good.

Yeah, A Fistful of Dynamite is hilarious.
My favourites are 'The Magnificent Seven', 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' and 'Shane'

Wasn't Shane the one that tried to subtly justify American violence?

haha. word.
I guess technically it's not a western to some, (however, it does have to do with the time and it IS in the west) but Maverick.

How did I forget about Blazin Saddles. Who doesn't love Mel Brooks? Not exactly a typical western but it still qualifies as one.

To be honest I haven't seen many Westerns but I thought Unforgiven was a quite brilliant film.

Sergio Leones!!
he did a good Job. Actually i'm not much into Western movies, But Honeslty one of my all time western movie favourites is "The good, The bad and The Ugly".
How many times have i seen that movie? .......Lots and Lots of times, and it never bores me.
But then, there are some good western movies like
- Wild Wild West
- The Quick and The Dead
- The Outlaw
- The Magnificent Seven
and that funny Steve Martin's Movie called "The three Musketeers". I think that's what it's tittled. M not sure though, but it's a good and funny one.
