I saw this in the news today. Its going to be interested to see what comes of this.
Critics say much of the best farmland is not being used because the resettled farmers are too poor to afford equipment, supplies and seed
Nationalizing the land would solve that problem and increase food production.
Assuming of course that this follow the steps of Marxism and not of fascism.

Mugabi is a god damn fascist parading as a socialist. Its true he does redistribute land... but only too his own party and supporters. He deliberatly stocks food and does not distibute, except to the towns of his followers. His elections are a sham where he cheats, and has his bullies beat the opponents, and any who dare vote against him. He has made false allegations about the leader of the opposition, treason etc.
This man is not a socialist.
And let's not forget that if you are white and live in Zimbabwe you have no rights at all.

Funny that Bush isn't doing anything about it.
:( Who am I kidding? A faschist state led by a complete bastard. Suppressing peoples rights. Of course they will have Bush's full and unconditional support.
That is, it wouldn't surprise me.
The fact that it is blacks suppressing whites this time may have some effect.
One can only hope that the opposition gets some support.

I know it would be the right thing to do, but if the U$ start to be hostile to Zimbabwe, it would just show them up to be racist as everyone knows they wouldn't do anything if the racism were the other way round.

i have a friend who fled zimbabwe, we is white and was on a farm. he tried to get into australia but there immigration policy was real harsh and it was costing lots and they werent getting anywhere so he came to New Zealand. He hates mugabe - he taked a wee bit about one of their opposition parties (it is banned i think).
Mugabe nationalized the land putting it into state hands which basically means the governments hands - or his hands. it wont be shared out, people have to get leases to live on it. blacks being racist to whites? he hides behind race retoric - all racism is bad. oneday the country will free up
