How would you fight Terroism in a communist state

Terrorism would probably be worse under communist rule mainly I think because of more opposition but what measures would you take to stop it?

You should ask: What is terrorism?

Do you believe that terrorism has anything to do with Comunism or democracy, that's ridiculous.

What is called terrorism is nothing more than the use of violence, a fight for ideals of principles that are not recognize. At the moment it happen that this movements are coming from Islamistic Movements, but could come from anyother philosophy or ideal.

Sometimes they call it terrorism, sometimes rebellion, others resistance and for very little WAR. At the end it's all the same

In reality, terrorism doesn&#39;t even exist. It&#39;s just a word. What we see is people using extreme measures to further their goal, and indeed dependant on your viewpoint these people can be terrorists, revolutionaries, warmongers - you name it.

Terrorism as most westerners know it would not exist without American interventionism and bombing in the Arab world. Fifty years ago, most Arabs had no problem with America.

surely terrorism is when people use terror against other people to get what they want. A rebellion could not be called terroism because their not thretening to do something if threy dont get their way they will just seize controll of the country eg there not terrorising the populace into giving into their demands.

This is the point... there is no real &#39;definition&#39; of terrorism: it&#39;s entirely subjective.
To the government, anyone who opposes them through force is a terrorist: to the common man anyone who uses force to reach their goals is a terrorist. By this definition of course Guevara was a terrorist and George Washington was a terrorist.

The point I&#39;m trying to make is that we cannot in fact call anyone a terrorist because there is no such thing: it&#39;s a catch word employed to try and arouse support by making the &#39;other side&#39; look like the bad guys.

if i remenber the 1rst one to used the word terrorists was napoleon buonaparte,(later the bonapartists were also terrorists.) after it was use to target anybody who was agaisnt the present power (bolsheviks used the termes like trotkits,anarchists.....they were a little bit subtils)......

You could also ask: "What could cause terrorisme in a Communist state?"

Religious fundamentalists? Improve schooling. Smart people aren&#39;t fundamentalists, Create proper religious schools that teach students everything about the religion, not just the "suicide bomber basic" being "martyrs go to heaven". If the problem is bigger than that and the previous options don&#39;t help chances are that there is a fully functional terrorist cell (or several) operating in the state. Not to encourage the reformation of the KGB, but a secret police would be needed to isolate and, if needs be eliminate the terrorists, bombing just wouldn&#39;t work, it would only provoke otherwise peaceful people.
If there were talk of a fully fledged guerrilla army with bases, other measures would have to be put to use.
