We all know that Che and Fidel were the main or best known revolutionaries but are there any other people that had a great impact but have kept out of the limelight?
Thanks

Cienfuegos was a very interesting man, many people do not know who he is or what he did though <_< Raul Castro is another, but he is identified as "That cuban guys' brother" by many due to his last name, or at least that is the way it is when I discuss Cuba's revolution with my buddies :P

The big three were Che, Fidel and Raul correct? Its sad because camilo did play a large roll in the revolution. Just like Che, the children of Cuba sing songs reminding us of Camilo just as they do with Che. As we all know, che was killed in Bolivia and Raul and Fidel seem to still be kicking. Last i heard, Camilio nor his plane were never seen or heard from again. Has there been ANY news on that? Any remains found? Any plane parts found? He had to be pretty close to All 3 men especially Che who named one of his children after Camilio.
But let us NOT forget about the women of the revolution. They played an increasingly strong role as well as the men, including dying in the fields right along side their comrades.

Other leading comrades includeD Armando Hart, Haydee Santamaria, Vilma Espin, Faustino Perez, Celia Sanchez, Ramiro Valdes, Manuel "Barba Roja" Pineiro, Juan Almeida, Enrique Oltuski; the list goes on. The best way to find out, of course, is read up about it.

A good way to find out about alot of people is to simply read
Che: A Revolutionay Life
The book has plenty of names and info on people who played a significant part in the Revolution. Most of the people CHEBOL mentioned are in that book including the women i spoke about. Go forth.. read!

Don't forget Aledia March, who eventually became Che's second wife. :)
