What are you trying to say?

Intelligence has nothing to do with evolution on the physical plane, unless you get into genetic engineering, eugenics, and other such crypto-sciences.

Intelligence is the key to evolution if you are a platonist who takes what Socrates says literally, or you are a brahman priest dedicating your life to seeking moksha by copying down endless scrolls until you die, or if you are a hopeless member of the academia trapped in the falsified realm of university and scholary journals.

Biology and the physical sciences are the key to evolution. Having sex is a key to evolution. Getting past society's disgusting stereotypes of what is 'beautiful' (an aristocratic ideal) is a key to evolution.

Having sex is a key to evolution

<_<
The product is, but is the act itself? Do we, as individuals 'advance' as a result of getting off?

Do you assert that we are going to devolve as a result of our intelligence? I cannot see what you are trying to say...

yes i assumed we are doom.because our evolution(als human means only
destructrion)

and i also think that intelligence is not a way to think, but merely a way to adapt to all situation .also in an evolution way
so are you ready to quit your political /religious views. to get other it and be once ,for all, yourself?

I think I understand you... the human race is destined to annihilate itself?

Probably right.... as to whether intelligence is a key or not I could not say. Albert Einstein is credited as one of the most important intellectuals of the last century, and he himself both campaigned for socialism and created the most destructive force ever known.

I say the jury is still out, but without radical changes to the way we apply our intelligence (as in the case of Einstein) we are indeed doomed.

yes, reproduction is the next step in human evolution this is true, and there are alot of people out there both educated and not educated making babies, but making babies is not neccesarilly progressive in turms of intelligence, education and morality taught by both parents, nuclear and extended along with your countries education system both public and private are the resources available to propell mankind to the next level.

That is where classes and politics get involved, ceratian societies are promoting desegregation of the masses, which is essencially dividing the classes further apart, exploitation and suppression are both words relivant to this socieological phenononan.

It is time for people to stand up for people, to promote equality and segregation of the masses, where people all have a fair chance at a real education, leveling the playing field, and for once putting an end to buearocracy and bi-paritsan politics!

Together we can make a difference for everybody, and carry mankind to the next phase in evoltutionary biology, both physically and intelectually!

peace yall

you somehow strike me as being too intelligent to be speaking about intelligence. that is, nobody is that stupid. you are so smart that even when you are pretending to be stupid you sound smart.

which makes you stupid

Is english your first language?

There are plenty of idiots in the world, and even more people prone to moments of utter stupidity.

The ability to adapt is the ultimate step in evolution. Intelligence makes it easier to adapt, and is therefore good for the human species.

Intelligence gives us a much greater chance of survival which is one of the key aspects of evolution. It also provides us with things to strive for which is another.

Indeed - but the whole thing is very much a work in motion. We do not know if there was ever a 'sentient' being on this planet before ours but we do know there was other forms of life. I guess with the obvious evidence in the form of the crocodiles it can be surmised that intelligence is not a prerequisite to survival, but considering we are slowly sucking this planet dry it could certainly be a key to humanity's survival - after all, to continue the way we are we absolutely must find a way off this dirtball...

I think the crocs might have a little difficulty on that front ;)
