has anyone heard of or seen this documentary? if not, GO SEE IT NOW! it's incredible. does everyone remember how the girls sued mcdonalds for making them fat and the courts ruled in favor of the fast food business? well, this guy decided to prove that mcdonald's is extremely detrimental to human health by going on a thirty-day diet eating nothing but mickeyD's.
the rules were thus:
-nothing but mcdonald's food for 30 days
-at least 3 square meals a day
-everything on the menu had to be tried at least once
-not allowed to walk more than 5,000 steps a day
-if the employees asked if he wanted it supersized, he HAD to get it supersized.
he started out at 6'2", 185 lbs, excellent physical condition, blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides.
just go and watch the film to find out how detrimental this was to his health. support this documentary, seriously people. it's very alarming.

of course eating that food every single day is unhealthy, what was he trying to prove?

I'll go see it, but it's not as McDonald's is much more unhealthy than burgers and fries you make at home. If you make your own hamburgers and fries every day, you'll be unhealthy too.
And I think that if you eat out at any restaurant for every single meal, that would be pretty unhealthy as well.
But I'll watch it anyway, couldn't hurt.

don't be a twat. you obviously had no reason to say that except to hear the sound of your own voice. try experiencing something first before putting your two cents in. you might actually enjoy the film. unless you know everything already....
he wasn't proving anything. just SHOWING people how disgustingly america succumbs to the fast food industry and how bad it truly is for you. the same food kids are served in schools are prepared and supplied by the same companies that prepare and serve prison slop. he's showing you how the initial small one-size drinks, fries, and burgers have gotten exponentially bigger. he's showing how truly horrible that food is and how much you can literally poison yourself. he was making it AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC EYE. which mcdonald's DOESN'T do for you, nor does any other fast food place. so you can at least appreciate that.
Anyone with the slightest bit of cop on can see this, they don't need a movie.

Well, I'm sure the movie is interesting despite the fact that I feel the lawsuites you speak of were ridiculous.

Ridiculous they may be, but I'm always against the corporate fat cats, no?
