They are talking about "neo-imperialism" as they call it, or in simpler terms "Free Trade". And also, I find it quite ridiculous that you support something that you don't even understand. "Evil U.$ Imperialists!!!" pssss what's this neoimperialism you guys keep talking about

Capitalism, in a nutshell, is where folks are allowed to buy the labor of others with capital. Capital is money that is used to create more capital... or money that can be invested in property or business. So capital derives from property and the means of production. Both of these depend on working men and women to either work for the owners of the means of production and/or give their money to landlords. This leaves working men and women with no capital. So capital remains in the hands of the capitalist class. It's very convenient for capitalists.

Modern imperialism is the practice of exploiting cheap foreign labor to provide one's market with cheap goods that can only be provided for such a cheap price if the third world continues to provide cheap labor. This practice (1) ruins the possibility for honest competition from companies who employ fairly and pay decent wages according to the value of the goods produced. (2) It ultimately forces the government of nations such as the US to cater to the said imperialists by ensuring them a reliable, cheap foreign work force. This is our main 'beef' with imperialism. In capitalism, the government must cater to the needs of corporations. After all, they are the ones who employ the people and provide necessary goods. And these corporations demand the cheap work force that I mentioned. This drives the United States and other such imperialist nations to try and provide this cheap work force by forcefully preventing the emancipation of the working class. Like I mentioned in the above paragraph, the capitalist class controls the wealth. If the workers unite, they will no longer be easily exploited, in this case, by foreign corporations. So over the years the United States has intervened violently in several third world nations to suppress socialism and maintain a cheap, exploitable labor force.

Please don't mind if I make some recommendations.
Read anything and as much as you can by Noam Chomsky. Don't listen to his anarcho-socialist drivel, but pay attention to the cunning jabs at imperialism and America's fuck-ups in the third world.

Read the Communist Manifesto for a basic understanding of what is wrong with capitalism and a brief, ambiguous explanation of what should be done.

Read something by V.I. Lenin for a more practical illustration of what needs to be done to put the capitalist bastards in their place.

Go to The Marxist Internet Archive (http://www.marxists.org) for lots of info on Marxist writers and shit. Look at the Encyclopedia of Marxism also at that website for any terms, figures, or events that you come across in leftist literature and don't understand.

Indeed. Clearly an unbias look.

Read the Communist Manifesto if you want an understanding of the anger of workers of Germany and most of Europe during the industrial revolution.

Edit: Check your messages messor Cheech.

The point is that you attack the guy with a shit load of bias stuff. It would be the equivolent of a libertarian forcing "Atlas Shrugged" on the guy and telling him how easy the early laborers had it.

Ok, thanks for the observation... is there anything wrong with expressing a biased opinion?
I'm not a fucking teacher, it's not my job to be uinbiased. It's a discussion forum.

IMPERIALISM

1 a system in which a country rules other countries, sometimes having used force to obtain power over them.

2 when one country has a lot of power or influence over others, especially in political and economic matters:

eg:-She accused the United States of economic imperialism.

As we all know today there is only one superpower which is America.
America wants to maintain this position and will do all that
which ensures its position is unchallenged.

America is the invisible hand manipulating world affairs in
overt and covert ways to ensure that they are favorable to
america and american interests.

It will shed blood, fight wars ,kill innocent people to ensure
its super power status is not threatened and to maintain its
economic might.

America considers the rest of humanity as sub-humans
who are born to serve the as consumers and slaves
and serve as a stepping stone for america's grand plan of
world domination.

There is also the problem of american cultural imperliasm
which involves propoganda in the form
of american media which delusions people from other countries
who have different cultures and way of life
into believing their cultures are inferior and their lives are pathetic
when compared to their american counterparts.

Like flies attracted to lamps people are attracted to the american way of life
and live the great american dream.
The flies get burnt and in the same way people and their cultures suffer irreversible damage.
Which in turn has created disturbances in many parts of the worlds.

Today all problems of this world are a result of
interference by imperialists(britishers, europeans, and now americans)

Whenever evil increases in this world.
Know that a revolution is coming.
