It was written by a guy named Greg Palast who writes for The Observor, a British paper. He rips Bush, Clinton, WTO, and Pat Roberts amoung others. I thought the book was enjoyable and infuriating..... Anybody else here read it???

It was pretty long and tedious. Some of it I already knew, some of it was infuriating, and some stuff was just not that interesting. The thing about the book is that there's no real focus and he just goes from one thing to another without much transition.

true, he is kinda all over the place... I only found the first chapter to be tedious. I really enjoyed his WTO stuff the most.

Hmmm... It is a little disjointed - but that's because of his [Palast's] style. He is an "investigative journalist", not a prize winning author. He presents a factual case based on evidence he has "dug up" himself; the focus is on this evidence, not particular issues. Compare this to Michael Moore, who uses evidence gathered by others to constuct a persuasive argument with a clear agenda. (The removal of Bu$h as president!)
I found the book fascinating. Well worth a look.

It's just a collection of his investigative reports, hence it's disjointedness. But he sheds light on a lot. You can peep a lot of the articles in the book at www.gregpalast.com
