We went through this 12 years ago. Is another war with Iraq viable. Iraq isnt like Afghanistan, they have a very modern army with the worlds 3 largest air force. If America invades they wont be dealing with the average mountain boy with an ak 47. What are your views?

The bulk of international public opinion tends to point to No at this stage.

Personally, I wouldn't attack anyone unless I had a damned fine reason to do so - I'm waiting for more information re possible WMD in Iraq, as well as issues relating to Human Rights violations (the information is still very sketchy), from a variety of international sources.

So, at this point in time, my answer, too, is No. There's not enough justification to launch any strike at Iraq, especially a pre-emptive one, an act which I would personally consider unforgivable.

Right now it seems like a lot of talk and I suspect that what Bush and Cheney are trying to do is give a confidence boost to any radical rebel groups in the country. I think this talk of war will embolden them to approach the US for support, probably covert.

I do think that removing the Hussein regime is needed but I hope that the methods do not include warfare on a national scale.
