Today I was selling the anti- war newsspaper here,
where on the bus trip back to the office I was confronted by some dick heads who supported the war,.- And after expalining the attack of U.S troops against anti- occupation protesters in Faluja, and the protester's reaction (the battle of Faluja). Then me and my friend where threatend by fisical violance!
My question is , have other people been affected in this same way, and whow we can react to situatons such as this?

I haven't been effected as personally as that, but before the war started my friends and i went on an anti war protest and had some abuse yelled at us, but just ignored it and carried on, I'm pretty shy so I dont really know what the right thing to do would have been.

it happens a lot to me - maybe a local activist can give you non-violence training. this usually covers ways in which one can attempt to diffuse potentially violent situations
