Just wondering if other people here like everlast..........I personally admire alot of his work, although I can't get into any of his more hip-hop oriented songs, I love those in the Style of "What it's like" "Black Jesus" and his new singel "White Trash Beautiful" ......what are other people's thoughts on him?

I first heard Everlast when i was in the hard rock cafe and I thought that black jesus really stood out as a great song. Eat at Whitey's, in my opinion at least, is a great album, not had chance to hear his new record though.

sorry, please explain. I must confess I don't know a whole lot about their history etc.. so would appreciate your insight.

ok cool....I have his first cd "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues" and it has 6-7 tracks that I like (some that are really awsome) but a bit too much hip-hop for me... is "Eat at Whitey's" the same soughta style (ie. some acoustic type tracks like black jesus, What it's like etc... but alot of hip-hop) or less hip-hop....

id say that Eat at Whitey's has a varied style, a little of most things kind of record. im more into rock/punk etc but i love this record and also it seems to be selling pretty cheap these days!

ok cool thanks, might get that then! and also I downloaded a sample track (contains parts of all the tracks) from his new album "White Trash Beautiful" and yeah sounds like more of the accoustic tracks, and very little hip-hop, and even that sounds pretty good.

my Fav. Songs are:
What It's like
Ends
Get Down
Today (gonna shine)
Black Jesus
Graves to Dig
Babylon Feeling
Turn Your Lights on

I'm not that big a fan, but I do like his style of rapping.

What was that song called on the Whitey Ford album, it was really upbeat, had a kicking piano. The lyrics were like "Lord won't you please, bring my baby home, Lord won't you please bring my baby home". That's a great song.

Plus, his attacks on Eminem were great.

fine comrade

why WOULD you sit back and watch the world die if you could participate in its death?

and by the way, rhetorical need not necessarilly entail that it should not be answered, only that the way that it should be answered needs EXTRA consideration as it, the question, is identified as rhetorical.

They're nationalists, who try to play the socialist card. Why would I support such ridiculous secterian bullshit? The old red guard of SF is pretty much dead, yes there are some lefties left but not many. They talk working class politics, socialist politics but that's all, only talk. SF were responsible along with the rest of the power sharing governments for implementing cutbacks in Northern Ireland, are these the actions of a party worth supporting?

Thanks for Clearing that up (excuse the pun)....

I was completely fucking lost as to what messiah was talking about.

And I take your point about Sinn Fein, Born of Zapata's Guns and Geist. Thanks for that.
