I realize that Walt Brown has about as much of a chance as Keanu Reaves in becoming president (perhaps less) but, should I vote for the man anyways? Or is it more realistic to just wait for a violent revolution?

Vote for him if you think that he is the "right" guy. Never choose the lesser evil. It's this thinking of powerlessness that is the powerbase of the Capitalists.

Ohh, are they any good, or are the shit?

What are their policies like, compaired to other socialis/communist parties, in the USA at the present time?

Officially they're democratic socialists, but as far as I know there are a quite a number of different tendancies within the the party, revolutionary included. There's a few Che-Livers that are members. One of the online organisers is a member.

As for Walt Brown himself, I'm not 100% sure if it was him or not, but the Michigan branch of the party started a campaign for his recalling as presidential candidate, after the results of a test he took online were discovered and had some very right leaning answers. I could have the wrong person though.

The Socialist Party USA is the largest socialist party in the US. It is good to show your support and make a statement that just because the Democrates are popular doesnt mean they reflect your views. Walt Brown is the way to go.

Let me add that it is not a waste of a vote, a vote is suppost to reflect your beliefs. Kerry would waste your vote.
