"Because your vote means nothing, anyway"

As a non yank I'd rather Kerry to Bush just because Bush is such a threat to the world. I figure since Bush's term you would of changed your mind on the remark on the flier.

But surly whether it be Bush or Kerry, the government is nothing more than a representative of the ruling class.

Definately. That's why I enjoy the sticker so much.

The two parties only differ on social issues. So its not a big change in reality.

Fuck em both, because they both are just looking out for their place in the history books.

Intuition and given the way the man put himself across I feel he'd be able to gauge that a lot of Americans and the world in general don't want America there now or in the first place.

You seem to be under the impression that John Kerry server the interests of the American people, and the world. In reality, it is physically impossible for anyone who actually represents the masses to be accepted by this system.

No I'm under the impression that on that one issue he'd recognise a mistake and feel the external pressure of the world unlike Bush. I'm talking about one issue remember that.

i have no doubt US troops woul still be in Iraq right now, even if s-Kerry got elected.

outside of the narrow scope of the US though, does anyone think that in cases where it may matter, like in Spain in 2004, voting in the masquerade elections is occassionaly useful? i saw anarchist stickers all over Valencia last year that said "our abstention is our revolution." pretty standard, i know, for the anarchist "party line" these days but the party that did get elected actually did something concrete for once and within months of being elected: pulled Spanish troops out of Iraq.
