Tim Wiener's book 'Blank Check' documents the extent to which the intelligence agencies and the Department of Defense have been looting the American public. Dan Rather on September 10th, 2001 documented how the Pentagon, the Dept. of Defense lost trillions of dollars, $2.3 trillion precisely, fully one quarter of its budget for the decade. This discussion was on the day before the attacks on Sept. 11th. The United States publication 'Insight On The News' August 10th, 2001 Every year trillions of dollars go unaccounted for by Federal agencies. Robert Liberman, the Deputy Inspector General of the Dept. of Defense acknowledged that $4.4 trillion in the Pentagon's books had to be cooked to complete required statements. In one year 1.1 trillion was simply gone, no one can be sure where, when and to whom the money went. Untold trillions are stolen each year and disappeared to off shore numbered accounts, companies and Banks without records, indeed in the year 2000 the Pentagon lost over $855 billion, more than the total amount of individual taxes that the IRS had collected, in 1999. This is the shear looting of trillions of accumulated assets. David Walker in a report to Congress told of the Government Accounting Agencies states that $7.6 trillion of accumulated assets are missing with a paper trail that cannot be substantiated and have no records what so ever. Whole sale fraud, whole sale looting of the people's money is what we are talking about.
