Zapata is someone i think is honourable. He despised American imperialism and gave his life to everything he believed in.

I think he was a great man, and someone we should all respect at the least. Although he may not have been as successful as he had hoped, he led the EZLN, and you cannot but respect that.

Zapata deserves as much respect and admiration as Che had.

Emiliano Zapata, like Che, was a great man. He fought for what he believed in and was against U.$. imperialism.

I recently bought a biography of Zapata but I have not read it yet.

As for the Zapatista movement I think it's stronger as a symbolic movement than as an actual guerilla army. They care too much about what outsiders think of their actions and seem to spend more time making posters, giving speeches and dancing than fighting. But I'm sure it has potential.

I agree with those who have said Zapata deserves as much respect as Che, both were revolutionarys that fought US imperilism, with the interests of the people in their hearts.
